The yachts of the Aegean Regatta have set sail on their beautiful journey across the emblematic waters of the Aegean, as they have for so many years now, departing from different parts of the country and heading toward the great sailing gathering in Myrina, Lemnos, on August 23rd.
A journey of participation, of place, of people… with sails – the timeless means that carries within it all the maritime culture of our homeland.
A meeting of the people of the sea with the people of the Aegean, with history and with the present.
As we salute their departure, we invite our sailing friends to honor this year’s special event with their participation.
The Aegean Regatta is organized by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Island Policy, through the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Island Policy, in collaboration with the Offshore Committee of the Hellenic Sailing Federation.
