The 49 boats of the Aegean Regatta 2023 have arrived in Kardamyla, Chios, continuing their beautiful journey in the Northeast Aegean.
Strong northwesterly winds reaching sometimes the 5 beaufort helped the sailors to deploy their seamanship and cover the 30 nautical miles from Psara to Kardamyla quite fast.
After the conclusion of the 2nd race, in the ORC Performance category the ANATELOUSA AFRODITI boat of Giorgos Avgerinos from Thessaloniki took the lead with one first and one third place and in the ORC Sport category the MELIPLOE of Thanasis Piniaris from Volos has the lead with two first places!

On Friday morning, the 49 boats of the Aegean Regatta will travel from Kardamyla to Oinousses for the third leg of the regatta.
The Aegean Regatta 2023 is organized by the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy, in co-operation with the Hellenic Sailing Federation / Offshore Committee.
