Welcome to “AEGEAN REGATTA 2024”, the 24th International Open Sea Sailing Races of the Aegean Sea. The institutional event of the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Island Policy in collaboration with the Open Sea Committee of the Hellenic Sailing Federation, for 23 years, has been setting sail and leading the way in the hearts of sailors in Greece and abroad, residents and visitors and lovers of our islands!
As an ominous host, I welcome you to the deep blue waters of our Aegean. This year, the Aegean Regatta will have stops on the beautiful islands of the Dodecanese, Kalymnos, Nisyros, Tilos, Chalki and Rhodes.
Each of these islands has a unique history, united with the lacy shores and crystal blue waters of the Aegean, enchanting every visitor. Their architecture embodies the eternal Greek heritage, while their natural environment highlights unique landscapes, from volcanic formations to vast virgin horizons.
Let’s celebrate together the spirit of sailing and maritime adventure, sailing from one island to another, discovering the unique beauty and rich cultural heritage of the Aegean. “AEGEAN REGATTA” is always a wonderful opportunity for sport, friendship and knowledge and we look forward to welcoming you to the celebration of sailing and the sea.
